Christopher Ainembabazi Wins First Toyota Wish in Kagwirawo’s EYASE Promotion
The usually busy Mbarara Bus Park turned into a festival ground on Saturday as Kagwirawo lit up the city with music, cheers, and one very lucky bettor driving off in a brand-new Toyota Wish.
The star of the day? Christopher Ainembabazi, a proud resident of Kasese and a regular bettor with Kagwirawo, who became the first car winner in the ongoing EYASE promotion. Ainembabazi couldn’t believe his luck when Kagwirawo’s Operations Manager, Rogers Mbalire, handed him the keys in front of a cheering crowd.
“This is just the beginning,” said Mbalire as he congratulated the winner. “Christopher’s win proves that Kagwirawo delivers on its promise and anyone could be next.”
The giveaway wasn’t just about the car but rather a full-blown party. Kagwirawo brand ambassadors Kataleya & Kandle had fans screaming with their energetic performance, while Lil Pazo brought his trademark energy to the stage. The music, the dance, and the suspense of the car reveal kept the crowd on its feet from start to finish.
When the Toyota Wish keys finally changed hands, the Bus Park erupted with horns blaring, people chanting Ainembabazi’s name, and the new ride gleaming in the Mbarara sun.
Ainembabazi, who regularly places bets on Kagwirawo, said he never expected to win a car but kept trying his luck because of the excitement of the game. On Saturday, his consistency paid off in the biggest way possible.
“Every time I placed a bet, I thought maybe this will be my lucky one,” Ainembabazi shared, visibly overwhelmed. “Today, Kagwirawo has changed my life. I’m going home in a brand-new car!”
EYASE’s Winning Streak
The promotion has already seen plenty of winners before Ainembabazi’s jackpot moment:
• Enock Muteesa, a Kampala mechanic, bagged UGX 1 million in instant cash.
• Habiru Lumba of Natete rode away with a boda boda live at Galaxy FM’s Zzina Connect show in Mukono.
• The second boda boda winner, Muzamiru from Magamaga in Jinja District, received his prize after being called live on Galaxy TV during the weekly draw
But Ainembabazi’s Toyota Wish marks the biggest prize so far, and Kagwirawo has promised this is only the first of three cars to be given away during the EYASE campaign.
The EYASE promotion still has two more Toyota Wish cars up for grabs, not to mention weekly boda bodas and stacks of cash prizes. With every bet acting as an entry, bettors from Arua to Jinja, Kasese to Kampala have a shot at being the next big headline.
